I decided to make this post as a sticky, so that people click on the links here. These links lead to some charity/activism web sites, where people can urge officials to vote on some issues, donate, vote themselves, etc. So here are the links (will update them when I find more). Please, don't pass by!!!

Well, I do not have any TV and no music player, either. Everything I watch or listen to comes from the cloud! :)

Yesterday morning I turn on my computer, launch Opera as usual just to check what's new on the internets, and lo and behold! What do I see?! A tweet by Opera saying " Congrats @aleksod - our My Opera community member of the week: http://tinyurl.com/mf64zg ". What?! How can this be?! So I went to my.opera.com just to be sure... and it turns out that I AM THE MEMBER OF THE WEEK!!! This is amazing!!! Finally all these years of determined quality blogging (:P) have paid off!

Let's take a look at a screenshot from yesterday's My Opera site below:

Clicking on an image of a handsome young man :P will take you to a new page where you can LEAVE A COMMENT *hint hint* about this glorious event  :

Thank you, Opera and Opera people for making this possible, you are the inspiration for my blogging :wizard:

It's Independence Day in the U.S., celebrating the signing of the Declaration of Independence. If you were to make your own personal declaration of independence, who or what would you address it to?

My guess it would be addressed to death, fear and pain, sins of the flesh, slothfullness, loneliness, greed, and jealousy. I suppose, we as Orthodox Christians are called to declare such independence right from the beginning of our spiritual journeys. However, this is an ongoing battle for many of us, probably.
